July is the last month for foreigners who have been benefiting from the so-called “COVID extensions.” Now it’s high time to start the procedures for applying for a residence permit.

The state of epidemic threat has been lifted as of July 1, 2023. This means that the extension of the validity period of residence documents based on the so-called COVID-19 regulations has come to an end. Individuals in such a situation have time until 31.o7.2023 , to regularize their residency status. Most often, this means filling out the appropriate application and submitting a folder of required documents to the voivodeship office.

*The aforementioned changes do not apply to Ukrainian citizens, whose legal residence in Poland has been extended until March 4, 2024, due to the war. Nevertheless, we recommend taking care of your residence documents now.
